Here, at Evolution Fitness, we don’t believe in the “one size fits all” approach. We believe in PERSONALISING a Programme to suit your individual requirements. You are unique, and what may work for someone else, may not work for you (Infact, this is why so many people fail). There’s nothing personal about following a programme in a magazine, or over the Internet.

Evolution uses a PERSONAL approach to fitness training and we do this by following these 7 unique methods:

  1. You'll never get a hard sell when you phone for information. We believe that you must be ready to start training with us, not sold into it. You may even find that we send you away for a couple of weeks to think about things and find out more information.
  2. All new clients undergo a thorough fitness evaluation before beginning their exercise programme. This includes a postural analysis, blood pressure testing, body fat measurements, flexibility assessment, a short aerobic fitness test and a series of functional tests. This will enable us to design you a unique programme for your current fitness level.
  3. All new clients will be asked to fill out a food diary before embarking on their fitness programme. Our food diary will ask important questions like, what you ate? How much did you eat? What time? Who you ate with? And even where you ate? You’ll be staggered at what we can achieve from this simple exercise!
  4. It takes more than state-of-the art equipment to achieve the goals that you want. Training with Evolution is NOT about the fancy equipment we’re using, it's NOT about the shiny glass and chrome you'll find in most health clubs, it's NOT about watching you on a treadmill for twenty minutes cheering you on like a “cheerleader” would or even acting like your “agony aunt or gym buddy”!

    That’s not what we’re about…

    We focus on your specific goals and what you need to do to achieve them!!

  5. Motivation comes in different forms. We know that not everyone responds to the same motivational strategies and it’s our job to find out what is the best way for us to motivate you. Let’s face it, staying in shape is hard work isn’t it, and there can be a rocky road ahead especially when your own motivation starts to dip. The professional friendship that you create with us will keep you going long after you are ready to quit because we will become accustomed to your moods, your ups, your downs and yes, your excuses! We won't easily be fooled and we won't take no for an answer if you're slacking off either.

    That doesn't mean that we’ll bully you or be nasty in any way, simply that we understand that you opted to go with us for one reason and one reason only... TO GET A RESULT!!! After all, you’re investing in us…right?

  6. Here at Evolution, we like to educate our clients as well as train them. Instead of “Leaving you to get on with it” we like to give you on going guidance & support in the way of diet, training tips & recipes, delivered straight into your inbox every month. It’s these snippets of information from us that will help you on your way to achieve the goals that you want.
  7. In our working life, it is highly probable that at some point we have set ourselves targets and goals to be completed in a specific timeframe, but do we set these same targets and goals for our own lives? Hell no!!! Working with us, will help you pint point any areas that you need to focus in on, such as dietary habits or lifestyle changes. Once we’ve agreed on these, we will then describe the level of commitment that is required for each of them to be achieved.
