The “E-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N PRINCIPLES”
“Do you pass the test?”
Unlike a lot of personal trainers who will take on anyone and everyone, Sam is very particular about who he works with to ensure he works exclusively with people who are 100% committed to achieving their fat loss goal.
We thought it best to inform you of a few pre-requisites that Sam has in place to guarantee both that he makes the best use of his valuable time AND the best use of YOUR time, effort and hard-earned money.
As an elite weight loss specialist Sam has a reputation that is pretty impressive - he GUARANTEES RESULTS! He is one of only a handful of trainers in the UK who has the knowledge, expertise, experience and motivational skills to give this iron-clad offer, and is currently the only trainer in the south east who can promise such a guarantee.
Sam has featured on Radio, in Magazines and Newspapers as well as on national and international websites and forums – he’s also lectured and presented in some of the top health clubs in the UK.
We don’t tell you this to boast or brag, but naturally Sam is very concerned about protecting his reputation. Therefore, only select individuals who impress him with their attitude, desire and commitment to achieving life-changing results will get to work with him on a regular basis.
This is not big-headedness or conceit in anyway; it’s just that with all of his commitments and an extremely demanding schedule, he only has time to work with those individuals that are seeking dramatic change in their lives and bodies.
We want to help you achieve your goal, but in order for Sam to do this, he needs a few things from you. Follow “The Evolution Principles” and you’ll be well on our way to achieving the results that you want from this coaching programme:
- EAT WELL. Eating little and often throughout the day will create a fast metabolism and constant energy throughout the day. Eating one or two meals throughout the day will slow down your metabolism drastically and you’ll burn up muscle tissue in search for energy and nutrients. When you follow our nutrition plan, you are asked to eat certain foods at certain times of the day to attain your goal filling out a food diary as you go.
You must ALSO be prepared to give up wheat, dairy and all processed foods for the first 30 days of the program. This requirement is a MUST and if, at any stage, you feel as though you couldn’t stick to this, then maybe you need to rethink how much your goal means to you.
- VITALITY. As well as enjoying eating well and being active, we want you to “feel good about yourself”. We don’t want you to start OBSESSING over food or stressing out over your training. We want you to really think about what makes you happy outside of the gym when you take out a coaching course with us. It might be “taking a walk in the park with a loved one,” or something as simple as “going to the theatre”…Anything!!! We just want you to start doing it, or keep on doing it!! Don’t lose sight of the little things in life that make you happy, because they’re important. Just remember to have a good balance from all areas of your life, and you will be living your life with vitality!
- OPTIMISM. We like all our clients to maintain a positive “CAN DO” attitude throughout the programme and show your trainer that you WANT to achieve your goal. Of course, we understand that we all have highs and lows. We’re only human right? But if you work your end and show us dedication and commitment, then we’ll work our end. Warming up 10 minutes before your session would be a good start and will show your trainer that you’re serious about achieving your goal.
- LIMIT ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION. Alcohol calories are empty calories. There’s nothing nutritious about it, so it can be easily stored as fat. It reduces recovery from workouts and it dehydrates you. During the first 30 days of the coaching course you must be prepared to give up alcohol.
- ULTIMATE SLEEP.Sleeping is when most of the repair work is done to your muscles so in order for this to happen, make sure you get at least 9 hours of sleep every night.
That’s right! 9 hours! If you’re not getting enough sleep between the hours of 10 & 2, then your body will be under physical stress and will struggle to regenerate itself after training. Too little sleep between 2 & 6 am will leave you exposed to mental stress and anxiety leaving you de-motivated and more likely to drop out of our coaching programme altogether.
If you can’t get up in the morning without an alarm clock, then you’re not getting enough sleep. Your training and results with us will suffer.
- TRAINING REQUIREMENTS. If you don’t train on your own or eat the right foods then you won’t see a result…period. In order for you to benefit from our coaching programme and to not waste your hard-earned money, we need you to train twice a week with us and twice on your own, or once with us and three times on your own for a MINIMUM of 12 weeks.
Those are your 2 options, no “if’s or but’s”, no special cases. These requirements are all or nothing and we will not entertain negotiations of any kind. Sure, we could take your money like most personal trainers and do infrequent sessions with you, but lets be honest guys, you’re not going to see any results by just solely training once a week with a trainer are you. Why waste your money? Remember, personal training isn’t magic, and we want to get a RESULT with you. That’s why we’ve put these training requirements in place.
This is OUR training criteria and every client that we have helped so far has benefited from training in this way. Don’t believe us? Then see for yourself!
Each time you train on your own, we ask you to record your results on the training programme provided. You need to do this otherwise we won’t know what you have done on your own and won’t be able to move you on and progress you.
- INTAKE OF WATER. Many people do not drink enough water. Signs of chronic dehydration include headache, dry skin, tiredness, poor skin, and muscle pain. Depending on how many calories you’re consuming, you should try to drink 7-8 glasses of water a day on top of what you’d drink when you workout. Always use a water filter, our tap water isn’t as clean as we think! Avoid drinking at night, it can keep you wake! Drink water at room temperature, cold drinks can disrupt the proper flow of energy in the body and “shock” the body.
- ONE MASSAGE A MONTH. When you take out a coaching programme with us, we recommend that you have one massage a month. This will help you alleviate the stress and tension, which builds up in your body’s soft tissues during physical activity. Where minor injuries and lesions occur, due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively. Above all, it can help prevent those niggling injuries that so often get in our way.
- NO SMOKING!!! Avoid smoking guys!!! Cigarettes - whether they're light, lower-tar or regular - contain more than 4,000 chemicals, including at least 40 that increase the risk of cancer. If you smoke, you are 2 to 3 times more likely to have a heart attack than a non-smoker, and much more likely to die from heart disease. Smokers are also more likely to have strokes, blood clots, and angina. Smoking during our coaching programme is completely off-limits guys, so you’ll have to invest time in giving up before you engage in a training programme with us. Giving up is a big commitment and will take will power but with the right help we’re confident you can do it. Here are some useful websites that you will find of interest:

If, after reading all of that, you think you CAN follow “The Evolution Principles” and are serious about attaining your goal, then why not drop us an email now? We’d love to help you, but we must stress, our principles won’t be for everyone! Although many of our clients have seen results in the short tem, it is in the long term that “The Evolution Principles” really come into play. For this reason, we ask all our clients to commit to a minimum of 3 months on our programmes. After all, making lifestyle changes for the better can take a while!
Go on, it won’t hurt! Nothings stopping you apart from yourself…
