With his coach’s words in his ears, Sam wanted to prove him wrong and trained consistently every week without fail for 6 months solid. He worked on his flexibility every night, spent hundreds of pounds attending kickboxing master classes and learnt from some of the most respected kickboxing coaches in the UK.

Although their names aren’t household words, many are giants in their fields and world renowned in their kickboxing disciplines. The likes of Ian Fox, Patrick O’Keefe, Tough Turk Arif Engen, “Iron Mike” Zambidis, Howard Jackson, Benny “The Jet” Urquidez (to name a few) have all provided Sam with the knowledge, skills and ability to develop a one-to-one fitness kickboxing style that you couldn’t possibly find in your average health club or with your local trainer.

  • He was crowned National Novice Kickboxing Champion in 1999 – In a round robin tournament that included some of the best fighters in the UK, Sam got through 4 gruelling fights to achieve his first title 
  • He became Southern Area Champion – In 2001 he became Southern Area Kickboxing Champion and defended his title twice over.
  • His fitness levels rocketed through the roof – Sam went from a VO2 max of 47 and body fat levels of 25% to a VO2 max of 63 and his bf percentage plummeting to 9 in as little as 12 weeks.
  • He qualified as a Kickboxing Coach through the FKO where he learnt from Chief Instructor Ian Fox - The Worlds Fastest Kicker and holds the Guinness World Record for this endeavour being 50 kicks in 22.0 seconds.
  • He helped 2 of his clients reach competition standard in record time – Using his skills and experience that He learnt, Sam helped 2 of his clients get to competition standard in as little as 12 weeks.
